WAP stands for "Wireless Application Protocol", a standard for the access of mobile end devices (i.e. WAP-compatible mobile phones and Pads) to special internet pages with WML format.
WAP allows interactive, dialog orientated applications in real time through the access of especially constructed internet pages.
